Zulaiha Abdullah, Korngo Dosoo, Priscilla Fianu and 30 Others Named Ghana’s 2025 Female Tech Trailblazers

In celebration of International Girls in ICT Day 2025, Soronko Academy, in partnership with the Gender & Digital Portal, unveiled the Ghana Female Tech Trailblazers shortlist—a recognition of exceptional women driving change in technology, entrepreneurship, digital innovation and STEM education.

This year’s theme, “Girls in ICT for Inclusive Digital Transformation”, highlighted the importance of women’s contributions in shaping Ghana’s digital economy.

Nomination & Shortlisting

According to Soronko Academy, the process involved an open call for nominations across the country, after which a review panel assessed the entries based on innovation, leadership, community impact, and contributions to digital inclusion. From this, over 80 outstanding women were shortlisted, reflecting the diverse and growing role of women in Ghana’s ICT and STEM sectors.

Honorees

His keen eye for innovation and passion for empowering consumers, and in-depth insights in the latest gadgets and technologies have made him a trusted voice in Ghana's tech community. Dessy has worked with leading tech companies including Google, Meta Samsung, MTN Group & more on various projects including creating tutorials, product reviews and sharing insights across digital platforms.
